Today while cruising along the 06 thru the p0607 code and went into limp mode. No power, no nothing and a long 7+ mile limp home. Google says its either

1. A bad ECU
2. A bad ground
3. Secondary air pump garbage.

Since I do not have an ECU to swap with, I reset the computer and will keep the accessport with me. The secondary air valves will be removed asap to see if this fixes the problem, so stay tuned.

The 2006 is bone stock, so no need to think a particular mod caused the problem.

Thanks Mike.

The secondary air valves are emissions BS that tend to fail and cost a lot to fix. The yare located under the intake manifold and they attack via piping to the cylinder heads to inject "fresh" air for cold start up for emissions.
