Can't locate the OBD-II connector

Hoping someone can help me here. The CEL on my 2000 Forester keeps going on and off at random times. I think it's probably the rear O2 sensor. I purchased a OBD-II scanner/reader to check it out, but I'm having a hard time seeing where to plug it in under the dash (it's probably staring me in the face, but I just don't recongnize it). Can anyone here give me a good description of where I can find it, exactly what it looks like (color, etc), and so on, so I can find it? A quick photo would be great as well! Thanks to everyone and anyone who has the time to help!

Under the steering column, to the lower right of the coin holder. In the picture you can see the OBDII reader cable plugged in on our 98 S.
