Car's looking good and that bonnet protector, even that seems to add to the look in a weird sort of way.

Surprised if it makes any difference to your air flow to the IC, as it looks like the IC still sits quite a bit above the protector

Cheers bud and I haven't noticed any probs with it yet ,was just Gouldy mentioned it.

The deflector does scoop up a wee bit at the top ,maybe resulting in the air flow swooping over the top of the IC scoop but I'm not to bothered unless I get high temps then I'll have to invest in a taller scoop , however the deflector doesn't sit flush on top of the bonnet , there's about a 6mm gap so the air flow I assume would flow under and more directly to the IC scoop.

Cheers lads , I've wanted one for a while and when I noticed Coopster had one on his beast I asked him for a link and the rest is history .

Just waiting on the paint for the side skirts and guess I'll be kinda bored as don't wana do much more to her , but as I'm an honorable member of the £60 club , I'll have no choice.

Iam looking for a rear number plate holder with light for the 11" x 8" plate as was going to move it to the tail gate ,only because I have a hooky (tow bar) and the plate wont fit .

So If anyone has any ideas apart from a gaylander one then please let me know

A wee bit of mods to her rear

Cheers bud .

Have done a wee bit of alteration to the rear as hated the chrome emblems so removed them ,sprayed the SUBARU logo ,fitted an 'F' badge in vinyl ,replaced the logo on top , shifted the number plate and fog light ( will get another in maybe a Maltese cross or something more suited ) and had a pressed metal plate with FORESTER printed on it from an old mate in Norwich to cover the old plate holes etc. Have also fitted LED number plate lights on the SS JDM plate relocator .

Oh and couldn't resist the WRX badge as she has the running gear and interior :icon_biggrin:

Cheers ratboy1 .

So eventually my paint arrived from Paints4u (great company but extra postage fees to the Highlands) after ordering from 2 other companies ;the paint was destroyed as they posted via RoyalMail and it's counted as a prohibited item apparently .
This morning before work I gave the skirts and spats a prime and lunch time started the long arduous job of spraying and sanding with silicon carbide paper (wet n dry) . Left until home at 2 o'clock  then done a few more coats and finally a few coats of lacquer, left to dry for an hour or so in the baking heat then fitted them and this is how she looks now.

Oh why does my dog Tank always get in the shot without me realising :shake:

Just got to find something for the rear now.
Oh yeah I took a leaf out of Coopster's book and redone the moon roof wind deflector and added some vinyl's...Ferocious in Japanese and made in Japan perfected in my garage ( should have said perfected in my spare time).

I sold my Star Wars figures about 8 years ago now , got 180 quid for em. They are worth a fair bit of coin if they have the original weapons etc.

If I could go back in time I would have held onto my R32 GTR . Never really got over that lol

All of mine went to cousins who strangely don't know where it went.... A millennium falcon, an x wing, 2 tie fighters, lots and lots of figures, speeder bikes, snow speeder, at at stalker, (always wanted and never got the at at walker). I still mourn their loss. Remember the little light saber training module hanging on a thread in the back of the falcon...? :)

I'm going to cry in a bit as do love to reminisce of the good old days , did't have a tie fighter per say but Darths tie fighter with the half hexagon wings.
You can still get the Vintage imperial AT-AT walker now for around a 100 notes , I'm missing the head canopy from mine and have seen them on fleabay for £16-£20 but can't justify that atm.

Most of mine were figures and the two legged at at
Thing, had a Yak Face figure which was worth about 80 notes on its own !!
I had Yak face too and also the rebel pilot Nien Nunb who you could only get from the US with some sort of tokens etc AFAIR.
Also had the AT-ST scout walker too (the two legged walker in Ewok village)
In fact I think I was spoilt with the amount of Star Wars toys I had :icon_redface:

Cheers and lol just done the mirrors , well actually changed them for the WRX ones and was thinking of a black scoop .....May buy a taller one in black though. Most likely I'd get the wrong one and have to fabricate .

Lets see if I can even do it first haha. probably will be a right ball ache to do it >.< Got a feeling it wont go well but I've got a load of 3M carbon wrap in the shed that is a shame to just leave sitting there lol. I'm not gonna be going overboard with the carbon wrap. I haven't got any intensions at the moment for wrapping anything else lol.
