I too pulled the wires out of D-7,,,, After reading all 7 pages, I believe post #127 is gonna work for my 2013 Forester
Much thanks to all people who have contributed, greatly appreciated !
Thanks,
Jim
Ps, watch u-tube before removing any connectors !

Maybe too late to help, but here goes: I have a 2014 Forester, which I think is like yours as far as the connector goes.
On the long side of the white box, the inaccessible side, about in the middle, is a small bulge. That has to be pushed in, to allow the (also inaccessible) spur to slide up and release the connector box from the door housing. It's the most frustrating and idiotic arrangement I've encountered on my Forester.
Do you have the correct lineup? I got the manual, but can't seem to get my front window to work and I am unable to roll down my rear passenger from the main power switch.

Connector - D7 (WRONG)

A1 - Black
A2 - Red/Yellow
A3 - Slight Blue
A4 - Green/Red
A5 - Pink
A6 - Blue/Yellow
A7 - Blue
A8 - Red
A9 - Blue/Black
A10 - Green

A14 - Green/Black
A15 - Green/Red
A16 - Black/Yellow

I have this wiring diagram. I think I wired them correct, but I am not getting proper usage. I figured I would do the volt meter test on the last 3 pages, but I am not sure I can do the test they do for the main power switch. It looks like there has to be power and maybe a Subaru diagnostic machine or is that a volt meter. See attached.

Hi all, does anyone have or know where I can find the wire schematics on the plugs for the Left Side Master Window Switch on my 2010 Forester? I stupidly disassembled the plug during installation and now have to rewire it so that it can be plugged back in. Any help would be much appreciated.

No I don't have a picture of that. I can get you the color code list, if you want that.

Here you go. Look through the diagram I gave you for the D7 connector like A16 and see that it is Blue with a Red stripe. See that it is the bottom right pin (16) in the D7 legend.

Donkpow you are a lifesaver, I finally was able to set aside some time to decipher that plug. Although it wasn't the reason my two front windows refuse to roll down, it is at least back together and working as the plug should.

For those who have the same problem in the future here is the wire break down all in one spot.

D7 Plug: Out of the16 pin locations only 9 are used. those are listed below.
A1: Blue
A3: Blue / Yellow Stripe
A5: Black / Yellow Stripe
A7: Green / Red Stripe
A8: Red
A12: Red / Yellow Stripe
A13: Blue / Green Stripe
A14: Green / Black Stripe
A16: Blue / Red Stripe

Note: The Diagram shows the frontal layout of the plug so don't mix up your numbers as you will be pinning from the rear of the plug (as you probably already know).

For anyone stumbling upon this thread I am attaching my configuration. It is Subaru Impreza 2007 2.0R Pro Sports Line but it matches 2005 Impreza / STI diagrams. I made a photo with numbers. Colors should match all D7s in all subaru's actually.

While removing my drivers door pannel, I released all my wires from the D7 connector. I have 16 wires to re-insert but I cant find wiring diagrams that have all 16 pins. My wire colours are as follows- Yellow(Y), Blue /yellow(LY), White/green (WG), Green/Yellow(GY), Brown/Yellow(BrY), Yellow/RED(YR), Thick Green/Black (GB), Green/White(GW), Green/Yellow(GY), Blue/White(LW), Thin Green/Black (GB), Blue/Yellow(LY), Black/Blue(BL),Blue/Red(LR), Blue(L) and Black(B).My car is a Jap import. Should anyone have the correct wiring diagram or could provide me a photo of how the pinout should be arranged in the connector, I would be very grateful. Thanks

Hi I solved this problem. I saw the same unit forsale on ebay which had the harness attached. Should anyone have this problem in the future, here is the colour code for pinout location.

YellowBlue/ redBlueBlue/ yellowBlack/blueWhite/greenBlack
Green/whiteBlue/whiteGreen/yellow 1Blue/grayBrown/yellowYellow/redGreen/yellow 2GreenGreen/black

If the left rear window will not go up and down, swop Green/yellow 1 with Green/yellow 2.

Green/yellow 1 should have a thin yellow stripe whereas Green/yellow 2 has a slightly thicker yellow stripe.

Hope that this is useful to someone.
