I read in the fine print of the Discount Tire "Certificate For Repair,Refund, or Replacement" that if you go off highway, the certificate does not cover your tires.
Seems like a good out for Discount Tire on your All Terrain Tires.......:evilatyou:

I spend 30% of my driving on "maintained" dirt roads. I'll just delete the road hazard cost....not worth the hassle of dealing with Discount tires' policy. Better still, Tire Racks' price is better anyway.
Always read the fine print!

As with any contract, they are only as good as the company that writes them. We stand behind our products and services and we have the best warranties in the industry. We are people just like you and believe it or not we listen to our customers and do whats right for our customers and their situation not what saves or makes us the most money. If you are like the 98% of people that drive responsibly on or off road and you don't intentionally abuse or misuse your tires your road hazard warranty will be valid and we will honor any road hazard issue that may happen.

There are people out there that will intentionally drive where they shouldn't at speeds they shouldn't just to intentionally cause a road hazard (or multiple) road hazards. (sometimes 4 at a time.... trust me on this one, some people have no integrity) The fine print is there to protect us from customers like that.

Yep, those with no integrity cause those of us honest folk to be always under suspicion.

I don't "play" in my Forester....too old for that.... "been there, done that" long ago.

Your response above sounds good....but YOU are in AZ, not here in Utah.
