I'm glad everything worked out. I'm also glad it's not my car they were pulling parts from for another customer.
Totally agree. This tells me that this particular dealership have several people working for them that have little to no integrity, and is willing to steal a critical part off of an actual customer to Hook Up a person who walked in the door, who admittedly broke the part due to lack of attention to detail. Ultimately, those personnel lied to the dealership or possibly the victim customer to replace the $200.00 sensor to cover the $200.00 theft. Wow....just wow

This isn’t how this went down, but you can imagine what you wish.

Prior to installing my side dimming mirrors, I disconnected the negative on my battery. When I went to reinstall, the instructions I was reading said to torque it to 66lbs and while I was tightening, the bolt completely sheered off. I know nut is 10mm, but I'm not sure what I need to look for when I go to the auto store. My local Subaru parts dept couldn't find a part number and even if they did, they'd likely have to order it. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm not going anywhere anytime soon without this fixed.
