I need help engine knocks after warm up but goes away when reaching a certain rpm

If that is engine knock, I'd be heading back to the builder. Assuming proper break-in and maintenance, you shouldn't have rod knock at these miles. It's usually at more than 100k, if that even. I have 190k with no rod knock. Just lower compression.

From my limited research when looking for a replacement engine for mine, it seemed that JDM engines typically have a host of different issues, so I went with USDM on mine. Did it come with a warranty at all?

So, if the knocking is only after warm up, what oil do you use? For example if you use 5w-30, try 5w-40, it's not going to fix a mechanical issue, but perhaps it might make a difference. Not a Subaru, but I have an 5.7 LS1 Holden (GM) 2000 model. Oil spec is 10w-30, but it seems better with 10w-40, pretty sure it has less of a taping noise than it did running on 10w-30.
