2010 - Factory Alarm question - alarming itself?

Hello all,
I have a 2010 Subaru Forester with a factory alarm .. lately the car has been alarming itself without me pressing the lock button on the alarm. I have to unlock the door by putting the key in the door which sets off the alarm .. question is there a way to disconnect the alarm ?( So far I have replaced both batteries in the alarm pad, I’ve searched for the fuse for alarm but there isn’t one . ) the car just randomly alarms it’s self

It might be the door pins for the dome light losing contact. You might want to have a look and clean each set of contacts. Not usually hard to do, one screw to remove it. I'm not sure if that particular alarm is current sensing but if it is maybe your battery car is starting to go dead or has a bad connection.

to answer your question this might work, I haven't tried it myself

It’s not that I don’t want the alarm , just tired having the car doors randomly lock and then have to set off the alarm by unlocking the car with the key then starting the car to shut it off . The key fob batteries were replaced in both set of keys

@GuusV Yes that is correct .. when I try to disarm using the key fob nothing happens but if I hit the lock button ( even when it is locked ) the alarm beeps

I would have the keys on the counter and then all of a sudden the car alarm arms it self
