It might be the door pins for the dome light losing contact. You might want to have a look and clean each set of contacts. Not usually hard to do, one screw to remove it. I'm not sure if that particular alarm is current sensing but if it is maybe your battery car is starting to go dead or has a bad connection.

Our 09 does the same thing. Unlocking the with the key and opening it is equivalent to the window getting smashed and someone opening the door.

Just use the unlock on your key-fob. Problem solved.

 

It’s not that I don’t want the alarm , just tired having the car doors randomly lock and then have to set off the alarm by unlocking the car with the key then starting the car to shut it off . The key fob batteries were replaced in both set of keys

So, you're saying that the doors automatically LOCK? And they won't unlock with the fob? (Unlock with the fob also un-arms).

I would have the keys on the counter and then all of a sudden the car alarm arms it self

 

I would say that my 2001 does the same thing since day 1, if I program the security unit to use "Passive arming". I suggest you read your owners manual to see if you have "Passive arming". It will arm the system and if you unlock the doors with your keys and open the door, the alarm goes off.
