2001 - Brake and Battery light on and no Power steering - Help! - Updated!

Hello, I need a bit of advice. I turned my car on this morning and no lights were on. I get about a mile from my house and turn a corner, all of the sudden my brake and battery light come on and I start to loose power steering almost immediately. So pull over turn the car off and back on... the same thing is happening.. Luckily I was able to make it back home and in my drive way.
I checked the serpentine belt and it is there and still moving when the car is on..
Please help if you have any suggestions on what it could possibly be. Thank You!

@bman400 yeah np. I have a 2001 Subaru Forester.

Been there, I have a 2001. Sounds like your drive belt is too loose. Check tension. Can you twist belt 90 degrees? If yes tighten belt up.

@bman400 I did check that is morning and it was quite loose. Ill try tighten the belt.
Could it really be that easy of a fix??
-if yes thats AWESOME!

I was thinking my power steering pump might have crapped out on me..

I had no power steering in winter on first startup. Rest of the day it was fine. So I tightened belt and problem never came back.
