What color forester should I buy?

Hi everyone, I'm buying a 2017 XT in a few weeks and I have to decide on color! I was set on the white until I saw it in person and it looked almost dirty - like an off white. Not sure if it was because it was overcast that day? I know its a "pearl" white but in pics online, it looks bright white which is what I want! So now I'm thinking of getting a black one. I didnt like the grey in person either. I'm torn!

An overcast day will affect the way colors look. Photographers deal with this by color correcting with what is called white balance. It affects all colors. Indoor lighting does the same thing.

I have white and it is very white.

My truck is dark gray dirt really shows up. Personally, white seems to be more forgiving when it comes to dirt on the vehicle.

Originally I was going to get White, but after running thru different dealers and no finding any I was going Sepia.
Then I saw a Jazmine Green and I was not decided. When I finally ordered mine 2017, I was told that Sepia was not available on base model, so I got the green.
We all can give our opinions but at the end the call is yours.
Go with your guts, you will not be disappointed!!
Let us know what you got.
Good luck!!

My truck prior to the Forester was silver. I got a dark gray 2015. I didn't realize how much I prefer silver until now - the black/dark gray shows all kinds of dirt, road spray and particularly little tiny dings and scratches from daily use. I think I will go back to silver next time.

I had this debate when I got my touring. I was debating between Black or Sepia. Finally settled on Sepia. It is a very classy color IMO and is also different.
You see a ton of Fozzies in black/silver/white so Sepia kinda stands out. The interior is saddle brown and this color looks quite upscale IMO.

Color choices are personal however.

I agree that the sepia is a very classy color. I was torn between sepia and jasmine green. The reason I chose green is that my former vehicle, a 2015 Tacoma was Pyrite Mica which is almost identical to the sepia. I loved that color but wanted something different. Gotta say, the sepia is far classier than the jasmine green.

I'm not sure how the Forester's white would compare to that of a '15 Impreza, but my daughter's car looks rather dingy to me against a background of fresh snow...it's definitely not what I would call a bright white. I always assume that white cars are rentals or fleet cars...
I bought my car off the lot and didn't have a color choice, but I am pretty happy with dark metallic grey.

We own out first white car and our next one will be white. Reflects radiant heat, doesn't show scratches or swirls or dirt. White and black interior is the way to go. Next choice would be silver with black interior.

Brown and green are two of my least favorite colors for vehicles. However, somehow Jasmine Green and Sepia Bronze both look great on a Forester. Either one of those with the Saddle interior is top notch. Although, Crystal White Pearl and Black Obsidian (or is it Onyx Black now?) also look fantastic with the Saddle interior! ;)

Pearl White

I have the Pearl White, and while it does look closer to cream on an overcast day, the pearl really comes through on a sunny day...and I think it's much more beautiful than a pure, cool white! I guess it comes down to personal preference.

This is my first "white" car, and while I really appreciate that it seems to camouflage the dirt and scratches, the only down-side I can point out is that you really see all of the "dings" that inconsiderate/inattentive people have left in your doors after parking next to you. But they're usually buffed away pretty easily.

Im picking up my white forester tonight! :) I just found out it doesnt have the fog lights which I'm pretty annoyed about, but I couldnt be picky because they literally had to go get this one from 300 miles away and it was the only white one available. Did anyone have them installed after the fact? Did you do it yourself or did Subaru do it? I saw they are like $350 online which seems like a lot for fog lights, but maybe i'm wrong.

Congratulations on your new white Subaru!!
I did not get fog lights in mine, it is base, but I am planning to buy it and do it myself.
There is this place in eBay called subaru_parts_hq that have it listed for around $265, the cheapest that I found. No tax and no shipping charges.
I got from them the cargo cover, the cargo tray and the rear seat protections at good prices too.
The instructions to do it seems very cut and dry.
Enjoy your new ride!!!
