Two questions about tires and wheels?

I have a 2011 Premium with the stock Geolander tires and am curious as to what is the best tire rotation pattern to use for these tires. The manual states that non-directional tires get the rears crossed and moved to the front and the fronts taken straight to the rear. Some tire shops tell me that they do not do it this way and they treat them all like directionals with the tiers staying on the same side. I have always done non -directioanls the way the manual states. Also does anyone happen to know what the torque value is for the factory alloy wheels and nuts? Thanks, Jim:confused:

Same-side rotations are easier/faster/cheaper to do. For non-directional tires, I prefer the cross-rotation pattern described in the owner's manual, as regular rotations will eventually get each tire positioned at each wheel location, which I hope will lead to even tire wear on a car with ~zero wheel toe and camber front and rear.

The wheel lug nut torque setting is 72 ft-lbs. See page 12-10 in your OM.

If I may, allow me to suggest downloading a pdf of the owner's manual. It's much easier to use the Reader's search function than to try and wade through 400+ pages on OM.

Glad to help, Rudy. It took me a while to find that spec in my '09's manual, as it's buried in some narrative on page 9-7. :icon_rolleyes:
