Takes like 5 minutes.

There are 6 (I think) plastic pop-it fasteners along the top of the bumper cover...right above the grille. Then there are 2 more of these fasteners where the bumper cover comes together at the fender - 1 on each side (attached photo semi shows where they are, they're facing upwards, like into space). When all these are removed, you pull the bumper cover straight forward and it should come off easily.

I was looking at this last night cuz I have to change the corner peanut bulb in the headlight housing.
Don't you have to remove anything from the bottom of the bumper though?
Most cars I've dealt with in the past has a few clips and screws underneath also if order for the bumper to fully come off.

 

thanks guys! yeah, i think there are ~3 rivets at the bottom of the bumper i need to remove. i'll check that later today.

as for the grill, does that just come off with the bumper?

 

Grille comes off with the bumper.

 

Anyway, it's REALLY easy so don't be scared

Way easier than the complex maze of clips and whatnot on the '03-'05 models -.-
