SF:Black Fender Flare Reconditioning

So the previous owner of my SF had the car parked outside. I'm assuming even the owner before her also did.
The flares have deteriorated to some "roughness" feel, nothing smooth. Rough enough that I snagged my rag while wiping the car.
Any suggestions on what I can do to improve on it ?
TIA

If they are soft to the touch, like the ones that I put on my 03, then liberal applications of Back to Black or some other preservative and plastics-reviving liquid that you allow to soak in over a period of hours if not days.......

Then, hand buff off the flares and you should be good to go unless the surface has been really torn up with surface damage (cuts, gouges, etc.)....

No worries, just report back but really keep the surfaces wet overnight at the minimum.

The soft thermo plastic literally drinks the preservative up and swells a bit.....end result is that the flares become almost "supple"............and then keep applying the stuff every couple of weeks especially is the car sits in the sun a lot.

Buff the flares off after a while and you should see some nice results.....and water also bubbles up and runs right off........I use the same B2B on all of the unpainted bumpers and side cladding.
