i'm getting the following codes (among others):

- P1510 (signal 1 circuit low input)
- P1512 (signal 2 circuit low input)
- P1514 (signal 3 circuit low input)
- P1516 (signal 4 circuit low input)

the odd CEL code numers are the high inputs.

description according to code reader: Idle Air Control, Vehicle Speed, Auxiliary Inputs.

what gives?

thanks for any help,

yeah, something about the signal. all these codes are driving me nuts.

i'm going to cry if my Fore' won't be able to make it to MI, come Feb'. but seriously, my whip needs to be tip-top for my long distance trip.

Code:
P1510 Idle air control solenoid valve signal 1 circuit low input
P1512 Idle air control solenoid valve signal 2 circuit low input
P1514 Idle air control solenoid valve signal 3 circuit low input
P1516 Idle air control solenoid valve signal 4 circuit low input

Therefore:
P0301 Cyl misfire #1
P0302 Cyl misfire #2
P0303 Cyl misfire #3
P0304 Cyl misfire #4

Fix for problem:

I removed the IAC solenoid, and it sure LOOKED fine, but cleaned it out with lots of Brakleen, shot it into the intake too.

The car idles pretty nice, and getting better every day, where tonight on the way hoome,it was business as usual. Apparently these things cet clogged or dirty, and can't seat correctly. Try this first if you have erratic idle, or your car won't idle well.
found this post on NASIOC. he cleaned it before with no luck. he used brake cleaner this time and it seemed to work. who would think it would fix a circuit problem. maybe it's the valve getting stuck and the low input can't push the plunger/valve enough? idk. lol

i kept making sure the plug was secure and the pins were clean and straight. i can't believe that those codes were causing his misfire codes too. maybe it will fix my cyl4 misfire code. well, we'll see. i'll take the IACS and clean it out. i did this with a Honda IACV before and the plunger just stopped functioning. ughh...

the thing is the engine idles/runs fine (as far as i can notice).

after installing the IACV, no issues?

i just got done cleaning a bunch of gunk off the pluger/valve with brake cleaner. i used some carb cleaner on a napkin and wiped the part of the TB that the IACV mounts to. then let the engine idle and shot some carb cleaner into the TB.

i never had any idling issues before, but i guess i'll give it a couple days to see if the CEL comes back up.
