Anyone know of any 3rd-party side cargo nets that would fit properly in a 2025 Forester? All Subaru has currently is just a large net that stretches across the entire back of the cargo area. In my 2012 Impreza, the side cargo nets were very useful for me.

Subaru stopped offering the side nets after the SJ (2014-18) generation, but I kept the OEM nets from my old '17 and adapted them to work with my '23. I used a small carabiner to attach one corner to the seatback latch bolt. They've worked perfectly....

The SJ generation OEM side nets are still available....

Bit late, but maybe others searching might find my solution useful.....

I grabbed the side nets off my 2014 before I traded it in (you can still buy these, Subaru part #F551SSG011). The threads on the old "mushroom style" hardware that came with those nets screw in perfectly to the holes for the utility hook accessory (no drilling like I had to do on my old Forester!). Only thing I had to modify was the upper loop that goes toward the front of the car; I needed to make it a bit shorter by looping it back through the top of the net.

I have a bunch of the "mushrooms" left over from nets I've bought over the years, but I didn't want to drill holes in my then new (and now totaled) '23. The carabiner solution in the photo I posted above worked great.

I rescued the side nets from the body shop after the '23 was totaled and I'm thinking about using some of those leftover "mushrooms" to hang one of them along the side of my new Legacy's trunk.
