I own a 2021 Forester (premium package). Is there any way to retain the settings I select (e.i. album, artist, etc) so that it's still selected after shutting off and restarting the car?

I own a 2021 Forester (premium package). Is there any way to retain the settings I select (e.i. album, artist, etc) so that it's still selected after shutting off and restarting the car?

Are you using a USB drive? What are you using to host your media? Can you store the media on your phone and use software to play the media? Then you can control what you ask. The head units are pretty dumb....
