Do you notice any warning lights before the engine shuts off unexpectedly?
Is the Check Engine Light on?
Does it happen under certain circumstances (while braking, cold engine, etc.) or is it just random?
When did this problem start?
Did you buy this car new in 2018-2019, or is this a recently acquired new-to-you car?

We need more information :)

Car stops, won't restart. This is completely normal behavior... when the tank is devoid of fuel..

If you are asking what might be happening to the car, you might as well be asking what entre you are having for dinner because you smell something good coming from the kitchen.

In both cases, a case without any clues cannot be solved by guessing.

I noticed a few members, mentioned it might be the battery. Just wanted to share a tidbit my wife and I own a 2008 Forester from new and just had to replace the original battery in March of this year 2023 that really is outstanding service from a Subaru battery.

As an old-school mechanic, keeping terminals clean, avoiding short trips, and maintaining vehicle services as Subaru advised. The key to longevity is following ALL recommendations which are spelled out in the Owners Manual. I service all my vehicles with an old-school mindset, as I started working in our garage at 7yrs old, and was taught by my Grandpop, even working on customer's vehicles by owner's request. Stay on top of all recommended maintenance schedules and your Subaru will last a few hundred thousand miles. Good luck with yours as we've had with ours which at present has 117,562 miles and is well maintained.

Also of note, a bad battery doesn't typically cause a car to stop running.
A can't restart, yes, but with the engine running the alternator should keep it alive.
I've driven more than a few cars that only got running from a jump, including my Forester.
I drove it 50 miles to get a replacement, and the battery dead when I got there.
It was still good for a core...

My wife's '19 just got its third battery recently. The dealer said the '19 Forester was given a 100,000 mile battery warranty because of issues, so we got it free. Just want to be sure everyone is aware of that.

My wife's 2019 Forester Premium dropped dead suddenly without any warning while driving yesterday afternoon (2/9/2025). It started again fine, then all the doors open/close functions failed for a short while. It seems to work fine again. We are taking our car to the dealer for further diagnosis.
Our car is well maintained and we do all scheduled maintenances since we bought it in 2019.

Car hard starts when warm bought it last October.
There is no year or model information for your car, which doesn't help.
Mileage and condition are relatively important factors.
Car hard starts? That statement could mean several different things.
Does it have trouble cranking, or does it crank well but doesn't catch immediately, or it takes forever to run?
Former can be battery and/or alternator or starter or wiring.
Not catching when warm can be a long list of potentials. Does it behave differently when cold?
Is the behavior consistent?

Air quit and then alarms shut off won't start
Air quit? Do you mean the AC stopped working? When?
Alarms? You mean you had dash lights and then the car stopped running?

If the car was running with a near dead battery and a poorly charging alternator or there were grounding or other wiring issues, and you put the AC on, which draws more power for the fan, it could have killed the ignition and the battery finally failed. Based on what little cryptic information you provided, all that anyone could do is guess, especially when several assumptions need to be made regarding what your symptoms are.

If you have no electrical power I'd start with getting the battery charged and tested.
I have no idea what your automotive skills are so further recommendations may be inappropriate.
Good Luck.
