The range is .028 to .031, these ones I have seem to be at .025, should I gap 'em further or just chuck 'em in like that w/o gapping?

 

I would gap it at .7mm as it's only going to widen as the mileage goes up....

 

For whatever reason, NGK and Subaru caution against adjusting the gap of iridium/platinum plugs.

They came pre-gapped at .032. It's because you can't gap them like normal plugs.

 

I always check the gap on pre-gapped plugs, just to be sure.

Trust but verify.

 

If they are not to spec then I'd adjust the gbap.

Just don’t pry against the center electrode.
