Is there any rubbing? I'm thinking about doing the same thing. (different wheels though :) )
It rubs on full lock. Very minor. Only happens if I want to make a U-turn

Sweet! Those were the wheels I originally wanted! But didn't want to pay for shipping to LA from Nevada. And you got the wheel arch moldings too. Nice look.

Any thoughts on running 18x8 with a 35 offset if I'm lowered on RSRs? They would be paired with the 235/55/18 tires I have on now. Used the calculator linked earlier and it doesn't look bad but I don't want to make the wrong purchase. For reference I'm looking at the Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2s. Thanks guys!

Hi! So I've gone through this thread, some others, some member build threads and haven't found any info that I'm looking for.

Considering some wheels. They are 19x10 +38 offset, wanting to wrap some 245/45 on them, but am concerned about rubbing when turning. Anyone have a set up close to this? Widest I've read up on are people using 9.5.

Thanks in advance for your input.

Well, I got a deal from Discount Tire on some TSW Nurburgrings in matte gunmetal and 18x8 +35 that I couldn't pass up. They'll be at my house today but unfortunately I won't get to mount them until I get home in a month. Hopefully they turn out how I want.

Let me know how they work out. They are the one "affordable" wheel I have looked at!:wink2:

You shouldnt have any problem. Im currently running 18x8.5 +44 on 235/55 and im also lowered on RSR springs. no rubbing anywhere even at full lock!

Will a 19(20)x9.5 +30 on a 235/245 work? I'm running coilovers and am lowered. I like the deep dish look so I'm trying to decide between a +38 and +30. Fenders need to be rolled as well.

Will 235 vs stock 225 have much of an impact on eyesight/calculations?

Just curious on thoughts/experiences

Just purchased a 2017 forester xt. Bought 18 x 8.75 rims with 36 offset. Is anyone aware if a 255 / 50 / 18 will rub?

Picked up some RE-71As 265/30/18 with 5k (non-race) miles on them for $500. Will be fun to try them out after the current tires (245) wear out. I will be happy to get some protection for the lips of my rims. Hopefully the ride isn't too harsh with the tiny sidewalls.

finally got rid of the stock tires..Continental Extremecontact DWS06 235/55/18

Wheels are SSR GTX01 18x8.5 +44, lowered on RSR springs !

Hi everyone,

I'm just purchased a set of Fast wheels FC04 in black metallic and I'm looking to get a set of all season tires on them. The rim's specs are 18 x 8.0 and +40 offset

I've got a 2014 forester xt and want to see if anyone has specifically a 18 x 8.0 +40 offset with 245/50/18 tires.... Any rubbing issues? I am on stock suspension and do not plan to lower it.

If anyone has pics of the same set up I am looking to use, that would be great. I've tried searching and cannot seem to find one with the specs I'm looking for.

Konig rennforms..

Hey, I was actually considering this exact same tire and size for a set of rims I just purchased.
How are you liking these tires?
Do you have more photos of this set up? Any rubbing issues? what is the offset of these rims?

TSW Nurburgring in matte gunmetal. 18x8 +35 and wrapped in 235/55/18 Continental PureContacts, FXT is lowered on RSR springs. Loving them!
Looks great! I was debating between these wheels and the Enkei RPF1 in 17x8 +35 size.
