- Good lighting
- PB Blaster
- Clean container to drain coolant into
- Oil drain catch pan
- Small hose clamp around 3/8 or 1/2 inch diameter (10-12 mm) – to replace factory crimp-on hose clamp from turbo oil catch tank
- Anti-size compound
- 14mm deep socket
- 12mm deep socket
- 10mm socket
- 17mm open-end wrenches (x2) – To remove oil pipe assembly.
- Breaker bar – Far better tool to break loose nuts/bolts than ratchet
- Ratchet(s)
- Extensions – at least 18 inches worth
- Pliers - To remove various spring clamps
- Flat and Philips head screw drivers
- Torque wrench(es) that range between 4.7 ft-lbs (6.4 N-m) and 31.3 ft-lbs (42.5 N-M).
- An impact gun is very handy, but not required. Use for disassembly only!
