2014 and 2021 Forester long term updates!

Greetings:

2014 Touring still running fine at about 400,000 miles! It was a lemon until I replaced the multitude of issues.

2021 Premium has been perfect at 190,000 miles. Nothing has gone wrong other than constant yearly alignments.

Note that neither have ever had the CVT fluid changed. It really is permanent stuff. Not changing it every 30,000 miles as reccomended by a lot of posters has saved me a lot of money, a lot.

Does the 2014 still have the original engine and transmission?

If so then I think this is a SubaruForester.org record.

There was a guy who retired a 2019 with 375,000 miles. It was a courier car. He said that the CVT fluid had never been changed and that the spark plugs had been done, "A couple of times." I can't find the thread.
