Hi,
I’ve noticed that my Subaru is dripping red oil up my driveway when I reverse out each day. There is a slight incline in my driveway. I only notice it in the morning when leaving for work, and when up on a hoist running it doesn’t drip at all. I’ve had the mechanic look over it and he couldn’t find any obvious leaks, or anything that could cause that type of dripping. He noticed the transmission pan gaskets were worn and oil was slowly bleeding from there. He fixed that and said it most likely was the problem. Next day it was happening again. All fluid levels including steering have been checked and are optimal.
Any suggestions of what this could be?
Photo included show drip pattern on driveway. Thanks
