It's been a year, and only 4k km since the 05 fxt with 4eat threw the p0451 code. Due to covid lockdown and working from home, the Forester had been barely driven. I decided to have the precat removed and replaced with a catless UPpipe, to compliment the Cobb DP. The car has been stage two Cobb for about eight years, it's the only mod and had been extremely reliable since we bought it in 2011. The only recent work was the UPpipe and I installed a hitch, which I had to loosen the charcoal canister to facilitate the install. Shortly after the work was completed, the p0451 code surfaced. I want to permanently fix the problem. I've replaced the gas cap, and keep clearing the code which keeps coming back. So what might be the next item to check? I have done numerous online searches, but come up dry with hits that are relevant to my year and model car.
