@Dazz Only one bit of advice... DON'T USE COPPER SLIP. as it reacts with the aluminum and causes galvanic corrosion.

Use proper brake grease.
Trust me bud as had mine refurbed twice because of this and eventually upgraded to 6 pot Alcons as was sick of them.

Why I just didn't think, as I don't mix copper and aluminum in my PC water loops as know this happens so why I used copper slip is beyond me!

While the calipers are off the car, check the mounting threads are all good and sharp and the bleed nipples are all freely loosenable and tightenable - the galvanic corrosion @highland forry refers to means the steel bolts and bleed nipples gouge the softer aluminium threads when removed.

Mine had two stuck bleed nipples and all the mountimng threads were flat and didn't inspire much confidence - I sent them off to AS Performance who replaced the mounting threads with helicoils and fixed the two stuck bleed nipples.

@PacoJones Good shout paco ill look at those aswell cheers👍.
Great company, as performance they refurbed the calipers on my old blob, good to know that can be done for future reference. Wonder if theirs anything that can be put on the threads to stop the corrosion.
