My '11 (140k miles) has been throwing a P0420 code along with running a bit rough, it stalls from a start (oddly the autostart has no issues keeping it running), and I'd say I'm down to about 70% power overall. The dash is lit up like a Christmas tree with the cruise flashing and two vehicle dynamics lights on.
I've replaced the upstream O2 sensor, cleared the code and it came back about 35 miles after. The power loss and rough running were there so I assumed it was coming back.
Is it worth replacing the downstream or should I waive the white flag and bring it to a shop? I will need to if the CAT has to be replaced as I cannot do that (no experience or tools for it). Also I've read a lot of posts here and just wanted a "sanity check" before spending more money I don't really have.
