Probably a little later than usual due to the transition of Forester production for North America (or at least the US) from Japan to Indiana. Legacy/Outback production at SIA will be ending in the next couple of weeks and then SIA will be closed for retooling.

 

but since the 2025 was a major model change for the Forester, there is probably very little difficulty or cost with Subaru making early 2026 models in Japan if demand exists. If I recall, manufacturers at least for the US regulatory-wise are free to make "2026" models anytime after 1 July 2025. And "2025" models until 31 December or something like that.

 

My guess is when it becomes a year old in non-North American markets. It's already 15 month and going over here. Most likely, late fall. The 26 will be built in Indiana, so that's a part of the delay.
