2015 Forester Touring with 2.5i, What appears to be rain water, based on the lack of smell and clarity of the liquid, has leaked into the drivers side floor area. The weathertech floor mat had puddled up water and the lever to pop open the hood was dripping (slightly) with rain water. The drivers side door speaker also had evidence of water that ran down it towards the floor. The dealer cleared the sunroof drain lines earlier in the week and it poured yesterday while we were out. Upon entering the car this morning we noticed the leak. The leak appears to enter the interior at or around the level of the bottom of the windshield, based on the fact i can see drips of water inside the car at that level. When I get under and behind the foot pedals the foam backing that is between the engine compartment and interior is SOAKED. Any thoughts or suggestions as to what's causing this leak?? The car still has 3 months on the factory 3yr/36000 mile warranty so I will be going back to the dealer.
