fwiw, that might mean at some point warehouses will want to discount the older model, so one can get a better price on a good tire. sure the new model might be better, but the previous model was very good, so getting a set, at a good price, might work for some ppl. I go thru tires like McDonalds goes thru French fries (35k-40k miles pr year) so I like good tires at a discount

fwiw - I'm on my 2nd set of Goodyear Assurance All Seasons, except for my 2nd set I went with the Max Life version for the extra tread depth
