Hi. New here. Owned a few newer (FB powered) subies, but finally own an EJ powered one. A 2005 SG manual with 256k on the clock. Plenty of things wrong with it that I’m fixing ATM.
I have been racing cars since I was a kid. Owned and tuned and raced over 43 cars. I did have some questions regarding this chassis and doing a rally build for it. If anyone has any links or info they want to drop, please do! And thanks for having me.
So the main goal here is to create a street worthy rally vehicle. I don’t mind giving up some comforts. but, I mainly want it to be able to take dirt corners at speed. I am not building this for any sort of racing class. It will just be a daily driver that is very fun on back roads. Of note, I do not want to build an Overlander, or off-roader. The name of the game is agility on dirt. And since I am new to the EJ engine, and this chassis, I turn to you people, you fine people with so much knowledge.
