We ordered GT covers for our '14 Forester and I started to install them and then realized I'm not sure how to remove the rear seat cushion...I don't see readily visible bolts, and it doesn't seem to just lift. I figured I'd rather ask here than start screwing with stuff and potentially pull a wire loose or something...

They do in my model. The seat backs are self-supporting. I used the space underneath to carry extra fuel for a desert crossing - 3 x 10 litre metal jerry cans fit very nicely on their sides.
