So I am looking into changing my transmission fluid (just a drain and fill). How many quarts of the ATF-HP fluid do I need? I ordered five but after checking the owner's manual it says 9.8 qts for automatic transmission? How is that even possible? I have the 4EAT but I cannot see it taking 9.8 quarts. This is on a 2010 subaru forester n/a.
