Is anyone else having difficulty with the AUTO feature for the headlights? On my 2017 Forester, the light won't come back on after Eyesight shut off because of the fog. Eyesight is back on but the AUTO feature will not work. The AUTO light on the dash will not come on and the headlights will not turn on in AUTO feature even though they clearly need to be on.

Have not had that problem. My Eyesight shutdown due to fog, I had Auto headlights on and that feature was not impaired. I would check into with by calling the Dealer or Subaru.

Ok the sensor for your automatic headlight is on the dash by the windshield. Looks like a little dark grey translucent button. Cover it with your hand for about 15 seconds. With the switch in the auto position the lights should be activated. Car needs to have the key on and transmission in drive.
