My 2 cents worth of recommendation is for the Michelin Cross Climate 2 tires.

I have the original Cross Climate 2 tires and love them.

Hello All.
I have a 2020 Forester Touring.
The time for tires is about here.
There are FALKEN Tires on the car now?
Any suggestions on Tires to get less road noise
& that will give us a more comfortable ride?

Thank you in advance for your help & suggestions.
Walt

On my 22 Premium, the eco tires lasted 35 miles before I changed to Goodyear Weatherready. Limited snow experience so far but like them for everything else so far, rain, dry etc.

Hi Walth TZ....

A lot of choices for tires will come down to personal choice... And honestly, there are dozens of similar posts on the forum. I'd suggest using the SEARCH COMMUNITY feature to find those threads and read through them...

I’m looking for new tires for my subie.
I found below tire a lot of the folks are talking about, but most of the folks lives in places rain and snow. I live in socal and almost never go off-roading. Anyone has any comment on how those tire would perform on the dry CA (relatively well maintained) road in terms of durability?
Goodyear Assurance WeatherReady $199
Michelin CrossClimate2
Michelin Defender 2 $203
Falken Wildpeak A/T Trail $177
Continental Extreme Contact
Bridgestone Blizzak LM-50 $184
OEM: Bridgestone Ecopia H/L 422 Plus $234 (already worn to 4/32 with only 25k mileage)

I also found the below in-stock tires in the local America’s Tire shop. I do take the subie to snow resort once every 2wks probably during winter season, but only after the road is relatively clear (possibly ice on the road, but not while it’s covered by snow). How will the below perform compared to the above?
Continental Control Contact Tour A/S Plus $191
Falken Pro G5 CSV $170
BFGoodrich Advantage Control $174
(They have Wildpeak and Defender2 in stock as well)

Thank you all in advance!

I love my CrossClimate 2's

@kalizee - i just switched from Bridgestone Ecopia to Falken Wildpeak A/T and like them. Can’t comment on longevity yet but can notice a difference with grip in the snow.

once you decide I recommend reaching out to one of the Discount Tire reps to get a price match. I was able to get the wildpeaks (225/60R17) for under $150 each (not including install).

Hankook Synergy 4S. $136 at Discount Tire (match Walmart low price about 16 months ago). Quieter than the Cross Climate. Have 20K on my set and 9/32 (originally 11/32). Excellent rain and snow. It is a quieter and lighter Cross Climate competitor at $70 less than cost per tire. Will try to buy again but I expect another 40 to 50K miles on these. Highly underrated tire.

Hi all! I have a 2020 sport. OEM tires. They are falken 001 tires.

I live in the northeast , long island, NY.

I just finally hit 30k miles. I've done all my own oil changes each 6k miles and each time I rotated my own tires.

I can't find too much on these tires besides that they are just "ok" tires. I drive mostly highway miles and not sure if these are really to go at 30k miles.

Could also use recommendations on which tires to get next.

@sonofjack1337 You'll get lots of opinions on replacements, but near unanimous dislike of the Falken 001s. They're somehow even worse than the Yokohama G91 "Geosquealers" that were standard on so many Subarus for years. We have a '23 on order with 18" wheels (which means Falkens) and when finances allow I'm seriously considering dumping them for something else before next winter.

Hankook Synergy 4S. $136 at Discount Tire (match Walmart low price about 16 months ago). Quieter than the Cross Climate. Have 27K on my set and 8/32 (originally 11/32). Excellent rain and snow. Very economical and very good in snow.
