I think I saw brake on the menu. I’ll check tonight if nobody chimes in first.

One thing I noticed is GWSMARTBT does not have the Rear differential inspection mode special function.

Worked for my 2017 and a 2018 I checked. No reason to assume it wouldn't also work for a 2014.

Necessary for CVT replacement or valve body replacement to ensure AWD is functioning normally.

Yes, don't leave things plugged into the OBD2 port that can draw power and drain the battery.

I had a topdon phoenix and left the obd2 dongle in my '21 STI and went on vacation for a week. I couldn't unlock the car the battery was so dead. I had to use the physical key hidden in the key fob. I charged the battery overnight and while checking it after a few hours I noticed that there were leds flashing on the dongle. That was my head-slapping moment.

Just checked out the Gearwrench "pro dongle" unit ($149 on US Amazon) and sorted the reviews by "most recent." The results aren't pretty. Did something happen? Have bad updates ruined it?
