Vehicle Details:
Wilderness Edition
Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone has any info on convex mirrors for the 2025 Forester Wilderness? I have the one that has the approach lights and auto dim, but hate how close things look and can't gauge my blind spots.

Any help would be great!

@NemoFinding, I assume you're talking about your RIGHT SIDE mirror? Technically speaking if you adjust that mirror such that you have to lean slightly to to the right, you should be just be able to see the right rear quarter panel. Meaning you should NEVER be able to sea the vehicle directly behind you. This will then do away with said "blind spots". The blind spots exists, because a good portion of the population adjust these mirrors to see only the vehicle directly behind them and NOT to the space on either side, hence "Massive blind spot".

Thanks for the reply, I'm actually more concerned about the driver side mirror than the passenger side.

I appreciate that it has the Blind Spot detectors, but still being able to see the vehicle would be nicer.

@NemoFinding I was NOT aware the Driver Side was Convex. Does the mirror actually have wording telling you that the image is not accurate due to Convex? I know my 2001, only the Passenger side is Convex.
The stock ones are NOT convex. Was trying to see if anyone in the forum had information about any convex replacement mirrors.

@NemoFinding LOL, my bad on misinterpreting your original post. :ROFLMAO:

Sorry I have no extra information regarding Convex add-on mirrors sticky mirrors. I am NOT a fan of them. My previous daily driver was 2014 ML 350 Bluetec, and it had the blind spot monitoring and it did an excellent job and never saw a need for Convex add-ons. I also setup the mirrors as I described in my above post and never encountered a blind spot "oops".

Google and you might find some. Some years ago I purchased some convex stick on mirrors that were cut to the exact size of mirror housing.
