Has anyone experienced the volume of their navigation apps coming on at FULL volume? For no reason. And worse can’t be turned down while that instruction is being given. Then the next instruction, the volume is back to where I had it set. It’s SO loud that it makes everyone in the car hold their ears. The other things that are on eg radio, stay at their correct volume when they switch back on. Just happens when using the navigation apps. I usually use Waze or Google maps. So today, I drove 1.5 hours each way and it happened only once during all that navigation. I’ve had the car 3 years and it has periodically done this but not so much that I bothered to have it checked. Now my 3 year warranty is about to end so I thought I’d ask if anyone else has had this and was there a fix?

It's happened to me using Waze and Apple CarPlay. Then it got super quiet until I lost the audio entirely. Then one day it magically appeared again and I haven't had any issues since with my Forester but it's doing it in the borrowed CrossTrek I'm currently driving.
