Hi all, I need to program a smart key (keyless/push‑start) for my 2019 Subaru Forester Touring (push-button start). I’ve been looking into a few key programming tools but still can’t decide. Here are the three I’m considering:
Has anyone used these (or another one) for 2018–2021 Forester or similar models? Would love to hear your thoughts on which one works best and if there’s anything I should watch out for.

- Autel IM608 Pro II – Seems like a solid all‑in‑one solution for smart keys and diagnostics, but it’s pretty expensive.
- Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Max Pro – This one’s more affordable and popular, especially for smart key programming.
- Xhorse Mini OBD Tool – The cheapest of the three, but not sure if it covers all smart key functions for Subaru.
