I've been using Raybestos Element3 on our cars for the last ... many years. I have been using both the pads and rotors, but don't know (haven't looked) what the rotors are coated with. Our OEM rotors get big flakes of rust on them and so far the Raybestos coated rotors seem to be holding up. For the month of October there is a Rock Auto 10% instant manufacturer rebate on Raybestos rotor and brake pad kits.

Unfortunately I already bought front and rear kits for my wife's car, and my car is only a couple months old and doesn't need brake parts yet.

(Yes, even with shipping, buying some stuff from Rock Auto has been cheaper than buying parts locally (Vancouver).)
