2015 - Limited - Drop the CVT pan or not (TR580)?

I'm going to drain/fill the CVT and its cooler. No driving issues, just regular maintenance. I did it at 92K miles and it's at 125k miles now. Should I drop the pan and replace the screen, or not? Apparently the filter isn't accessible without disassembling the trans, but there is a screen that can be easily accessed with the pan off. I just don't know if it's worth doing. TIA

Personally, I wouldn't drop the pan to replace the pickup screen. If you want to drop the pan to clean off the magnet, that's another story. At 125k (city miles) I would; if it's mostly highway I'd probably wait another 30k/3 years before opening that can of worms, but that's just from what I've seen with our own Subarus.

Dropping the pan can cause issues with leaks if not done properly. It’s not worth the effort. Why do you want to drop the pan? Filter change? To get a bit more oil out?
