2009 - X Premium - Oil Leak Source (pictures)?

Hey, I've a Subaru Forester 2.5X Premium 2009 (158k miles). For the last couple of times, Walmart asked me to sign that the oil level is too low before changing oil. I've decided to check if there's an oil leakage.
I've seen stains around the oil pan bolts. I attached some pictures. I've also noticed that there's a missing bolt to the passenger side. I'm not sure if it's related or not.
I'm wondering what may be the issue. I've drove around 2.5k miles from the last oil change. Yesterday, I've checked the oil level and it was almost empty, I added one quart of oil and the oil is still under the Low mark. I'm planning to change oil then monitor closely how much my car is loosing oil. What're your thoughts? Thanks.

It's possible that you're burning more oil than you are leaking. Have you had a mechanic look for an oil leak while it is up on a rack? Do you see any oil on the ground where you regularly park?

I agree, if I went 2.5k miles without adding oil, I'd have a very large flower pot in my driveway.

The pictures you posted look like an oil seep to me. Unless there is another leak that we cannot see from the pictures, I don’t think you are loosing that much oil from a leak alone.

If it was leaking why have you not noticed it under the vehicle on the ground? Looks like a seep, not a leak.
What oil has Walmart actually been putting in?
You should've been checking your oil regularly after the first notice of low oil.

The oil I was adding was Castrol EDGE 5W-30 Advanced Full Synthetic Motor Oil. I'm changing oil today at Belle Tire, I'll monitor how much I'm loosing and I'll keep updating this thread.

My daughter’s 2009 consumes oil as well. Just make it a habit checking your oil every time your odometer turns another 1000 miles.
