2007 - Help with ground wire location?

I humbly ask for more seasoned eyes than mine to identify this foot-long ground wire that goes from 1 bolt to another with a white spade connector in the middle. (It's only attached to that bolt temporarily to keep me from losing it).

I suspect it attaches to one of the bolts holding the boost controller bracket to the strut tower area of the car, or somewhere near there on the passenger side. I also suspect the other end goes to either the main rail or the engine block, but I'm not sure. I have two Foresters that will need this wire reconnected. The '07 in my profile pic is currently working great without the wire attached at all, but of course I want to reattach it correctly.

I looked through various sections of the FSM, watched Youtube videos of EJ255's getting pulled, looked around on my '11 STI, etc., but I can't figure it out. I hope someone can help. Bobby? :)

Current config of the '07 for viewing pleasure only:

License plate frames ordered and on the way.

Just installed the skid plate I got with the '05 FXT and reinstalled this bull bar with added LED pods. The car came with an 8-way aux controller mounted near the steering column and a bunch of crappy cheap LEDs that I removed.

I like the look of a rooftop basket and have a nice full-length one that came with the car, but I don't need it ever and don't want the increased drag so I'm not putting it back on.

A spoiler is high on the wish list. I like this one (does anyone know if risingtuning.com is legit and reliable?):

@snake2332 that attaches from the chassis to the engine. There's another one, just like that one, on the other side of the engine.

The connector is so it can be disconnected when the engine is pulled.

Bobby...

Not a whole lot of details on those ground cables in the Subaru Technical service manual.

This is where it attaches on my son's '03X. I believe on the engine, it connects to the intake manifold?

It's important to tie the chassis, body, and engine grounds together and back to the battery. Unmanaged electrical currents can wreak havoc on electronic controls. It's kind of like static electricity.

@Kevin those light wires, with the quick connect connectors, are not designed for any serious current flow.

My theory... guess: ;)
The main battery negative to engine ground is at the starter. The main battery negative to chassis ground is next to the battery, in the engine compartment. If that battery negative to chassis ground connection was loose, either at the battery clamp or the attachment to the chassis, then those lightweight quick connect chassis ground wires would be subject to abnormal current flow.

There's also a fairly heavy chassis to engine ground wire on the firewall to the engine, where the pitch stop (dog bone) is mounted.

Bobby...
