Also, design is not carwash safe yet. I found this out today at the car wash.

 

PLA is not heat safe at all. If you live anywhere that gets over 90 in the summer you need to use ABS or PC for car prints.

 

I tried nylon. It gets a little bendy and the wiper falls off. Maybe if I made it thicker.

 

Just found out this will fit a lot of Subarus. Forester is 2006 and up! All Listed in the link.

Nylon should hold up fine, that's kind of weird that it isn't. PETG has a higher temperature tolerance though, and ABS is probably best for car use.

 

Late bump but printed with ASA @ 0.08mm later height everything seems to fit quite tight. Though it's a bit clunky to get the blade on if you use a 16" instead of a 14".

 

That makes my day to see someone else print this out. However, it looks like it's put on backwards.
