Need help, there is a grinding noise coming from the front of my vehicle. I replaced the brake pads, rotors and calipers already. My next best guess is the cv axle on the right side of the vehicle (it sounds like it is coming mostly from the right side). But I’m unsure why the axle would cause grinding unless it is just from rust build up. Both my front wheels are also noticeably warm after driving.
Back up a couple months ago, did not have this noise, then I was on a road trip and the inside pad on my front driver side ran out of pad and started grinding against the rotor, metal to metal. With no where to get a rotor from I finished the drive and then replaced both the front rotors and the pads, and I don’t remember if the grinding started immediately after that now or not. But now I have replaced the calipers today and still same grinding noise. And the dust shield is not rubbing. Any ideas?
