Going for an ADF 2" lift with multi link spacers. Now deciding on the wheels & tires, but I'm not clear on the best option for me the cheat sheet on adf's website is 27.8-27.9 if my memory serves me. My question is has anybody fit 225/75r/15 AT tires with out having to cut the wheels wells and pinch welds? Thank you in advance pictures welcome.

I just finished my lift, ADF 1.5” front, 1,7/8” rear with 2” subframe spacers, KYB struts, King Springs from primitive with an intercooler for towing my Drift boat so essentially it’s 2”.

I kept my 17” stock rims and went 1 size larger then recommended. 225 65R17 Geolander A/T with full size spare, I would have purchased 16” Sparco Terras but it wasn’t in the budget. I had to do some modifications due to rubbing in the wheel well, pinch weld fold over and some plastic re-molding in the front, left the rear wells alone with minor rubbing on the mud flap when fully compressed. If you’re good with doing the modifications for rubbing you can go slightly larger then ADF recommendations but they know exactly what they are talking about. I would stick with their recommendations if I was to do it over again.

I bought a 20 forester back in December. I had a 2" ADF lift along with 15x7 team dynamic pro rally's with 225/75-15 toyo open country AT2's on my 16 crosstrek. They are 28.3 inches. We put the lift and wheels/ tires on my sons 09 forester and it fit with no issues. Slight rub in the front on the inner fender liner only at full lock and hitting a dip. These were a tighter fit on my crosstrek. No issues on his forester.
Really hated giving up the team dynamics but I can't go below 17" runs on my sport.
