I've had some really crappy service recently, which is totally unacceptable considering I've spent some serious $$ on a brand new car.
Well, as you all know my Fozzie almost burned to the ground about 1.5 months ago, and the kind people at Jack Miller Northtown Subaru in Kansas Cit, MO shrugged their shoulders at it. Well, I am STILL waiting on my replacement bumper and everytime I call the service dept. they ask if they can call me back (they have the #) and NEVER do!!! I don't care what business you're in, this is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable!
And yesterday I got a flat tire (road hazard) so I went to my new local dealership, Roper Subaru of Joplin, MO hoping to have some better luck, but I didn't. I was greeted by an overweight guy in his 40's with a s****y look on his face, I explained my problem and said that I had a lifetime warranty for my tires. HE LAUGHED, yeah seriously he actually laughed out loud, and said,"son, we don't warranty any kind of aftermarket rim." I told him that he needed to freshin up his sales skills for his co. because those are the stock rims. The d-bag didn't believe me until he saw the center caps!
Well, to make this post a bit shorter, he kept using words like son, boy, etc., which I find extremely offensive. I did nothing but walk into this place and ask kindly for assistance and got nothin' but garbage.
The service dept. people were nice though, but a bit uneducated about Subaru parts and tires. I asked for a price quote on some RE0-70's and the guy said he found some 80,000mi. tires instead, don't know what he was thinking. And I wasn't about to pay $277.00 for ONE GEOLANDER INSTALLED!!!!!
Bottom line, if you're around these places and need help, go somewhere else!
