Subaru Diagnostics - way to access the diagnostics? - Updated!

There was a button-push procedure that got you to Subaru Diagnostics on my 2017 Touring, but the buttons are quite different on the 2019 and the old procedure wouldn’t work. There ought to be a way to access the diagnostics and perhaps someone more knowledgeable re the 2019 models can help here.

@johndixs Subaru Diagnostics for what?

I need that info so your thread can be moved to the correct sub-forum.

@2.5x_sleeper Sorry. One could for example access GPS info: number of satellites received, GPS altitude, GPS accuracy-the HDOP values, etc. Rear camera settings ( though it was of no help in the 2017 for night performance, which was poor no matter what one did ). It would belong in the Interior and Electronics sub forum, I should think.

Thanks, Max. I tried both the two and six tune pushes procedures, varying the pushes from staccato to 1 sec plus and could not elicit a system response.
Separately, that link in the Reddit site quotes in part a “youtu.be” . That correct?

Apologies, Max- a bit of fat fingering here. Procedure works fine, but all that appears is a system check result for the various systems. There was no way to get into the GPS sensor, for instance.
