Is this okay to remove - Sirius Satellite ant? - SOLVED!

I accidentally ripped what I believe to be the Sirius Satellite radio receiver off my front window. I have never used it nor will I ever plan to. Would slicing it off cause any trouble electrically? Thanks.

I'm going to say it's not going to affect anything, other than not being able to pickup satellite programing. Was that for an aftermarket head unit?

No, you need to put it back immediately before the local Sirius police show up.
Joking aside. I'd slice the cable open cut the wires at different lengths and wrap it with electrical tape. The hide it back where it came from and be done with it.

Nope, it appears to be Subaru. I followed the wire and there was a tag that said subaru on it.

Follow up: I actually followed the wire down to the A pillar and it unclips. So case closed. Thanks everyone. Don't tell Sirius.

They are on the way to your house to make you connect it back up.
