Pam's Gray Goose.

2005 STI Trans, R180 Rear Diff, complete suspension, removed cross member spacers, a ton of bushings, 2011 STI wheels, etc....

More when we actually figure out what we did!

I can never be certain of what my controller is doing because I don't have a STi cluster in my car. I sometimes notice the low speed/maneuvering binding of the centre diff when its in auto. Where do you have your adjustment knob when in auto? The ddcdpro auto isn't like the standard STi auto. It can be altered unlike the STi factory controller.

I need answers....

Can I get away with only a 6 speed transmission, driveshaft, and rear diff? If so, are there specific years or anything else I would need to do the swap?

My axles / hubs should work, right?

I typically have it scrolled all the way down and clicked in.

This is my new 2012 6mt about to go in to a my10 sh9

Sti grb 6mt gear box with clutch slave and fork
Sti grb R-180 3:54 diff
Sti grb tail shaft
Sti grb gear box mounts
Sti grb Shifter
Sti grb knob
Jpm 6mt shift boot
Sti grb drive shafts
Sti grb 114.3 hubs
Extreme chromoly flywheel
Exedy heavy duty sports clutch
Dccd pro (optioned)

To do a sh9 6mt conversion you will need all the above besides
Drive shafts and hubs .stock clutch and flywheel will be fine and dccdpro is optional but if your going to all that work seems a shame not to install one ,one prob I had so far you will need the mounting brace and mounting bolts for the diff the forester brace and bolts are different , il up date in the next month about the install

Stupid money. It's an addiction really. When my 4EAT explodes from my supercharger and soon to be built engine, a 6MT is in my future... $$$$
