I have BC Racing coilovers on. 1 1/2 drop all away around. nothing extreme. handles a lot better and the tires made a lot of differents. wife doesn't like the firm ride but the wider tires soften it up just enough to get her stop complaining haha

Looks really good! Any difference in gas mpg?

Thank you! No mpg loss so far as I can tell. I suspect the slightly lower weight over stock and lowered ride height helps offset the friction of a wider and stickier tire

Yeah I put new wheels and tires on mine, went with 18x8 wheels from EnkeiTSP6 and Michelin premiers, the new combo is 7lbs lighter than stock per wheel. The premiers only came in 225 to fit or I would have gone with 235. Oddly they still look clearly wider than stock.

A lot of people donít like the forester staying but I think the XTís look really great with a street set up or off road.

Looks great!

I want to use 245/50/18 tires too and I already have a set of used 18x8.5 with +48 offset. Do you think the extra +4 offset will cause the front tire to rub against the front strut? Thanks.

Shouldn't be a problem from what I'm seeing as far as clearance goes.

Lowered on Feal 441s with Whiteline Rear Camber arms and toe arms.

Hi there I know this post was awhile ago but I had a question as I have my heart set on a set of wheels in the same spec as this 18x9.5 +38 going with a 245/50 tyre and it's hard finding examples.
I can't see the pics anymore, did the wheels stick out with any poke on your car?
I'll be lowered on Sti pink springs so very minor drop. I'm confident that my setup will be fine as far as clearance but if the wheels stick out of the fender too much that can mean getting rejected for car registration renewal where I live

Any info would be a big help!
