Maybe so, they were $500 slightly used (not heat cycled out).

Moo cow.

Hey Guys,

I got a fitment question for the gurus.

Next summer I'm planning on going a bit more aggressive; adding flares and wider wheel/tires to match.
Now I'm kinda stumped on the wheel size I would need.

Currently my suspension is: WRX wagon springs with KYB struts.... going to be dropping it with Epic Engineering springs next summer.

I love the mesh look of the BBS LMs but I definitely should not spend that much on wheels. So I'm considering the XXR 521s

Here's the plan:
- Add fender flares. More than likely these ones: (2002-2008 SG Forester Regular Fender Flares)
- Wheels: These: (XXR Wheels: 521 18x10 Flat Black Rims)
I'll be ordering size: 18X10 +25

So my question is....
Would this wheel size be appropriate for the fender flares?... IF not, what should I do to make it fit this proposed "stance"
AND
What size tires would you guys recommend?

I appreciate any feedback you guys have!

2018 Subaru Forester XT Touring DBA-SJG (inspired by the 2016 AUDM tS STI and the Audi SQ5)
Dark Gray Metallic exterior with Saddle Brown leather interior
  • Petrol P6A (by TSW) 19x8, 5x100, +35 offset
  • Michelin Pilot Sport AS3+ 245/45ZR19
  • RS-R DOWN SUS SPRINGS (F901W)
  • STI JDM Flexible Strut Tower Brace
  • 2015+ WRX STI 20mm rear sway bar

Notes: No rubbing or scraping. Wheels and tires are flush. Ride is only slightly firmer than stock but handles very flat in the corners. The OEM shocks could be a tiny bit more damped to handle the moderate increase in spring rate. But other than that I've extremely happy with this setup. Overall still a softer ride than my previous car (2015 WRX Limited with OEM suspension and 18x8.5 wheels with 245/40ZR18 Michelins).

What wheels dimensions are you using? I got some OZ 18x8 +85 offset with Conti DWS60 245/50r18 and the rims looks so inward :(

I'm a new member driving 2018 Forestet XT Touring.

Thx

Do you think there is enough clearance between tire and front strut to run a 18x8.5 with +48 offset?
